Your role at St John of God

Working as a Patient Services Assistant you will participate as a member of our multi-disciplinary team and under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor, assist in the delivery of a quality cleaning service and assist in the provision of support service to the Housekeeping and/or Catering staff.

The Position
- Maintain the cleanliness of all rooms and common areas within the building and grounds of SJGHC Richmond.
- Maintain high standard of all Housekeeping services to Clients, guests and caregivers.
- Attend and participate in meetings as directed by Housekeeping Coordinator & Hotel Services Manager.
- Use and maintain Housekeeping equipment in accordance with manufactures instructions and safe operating procedures.
- Assists in the provision of other additional services provided by housekeeping under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisors, Managers or Duty Nurse Manager.
- To ensure financial stewardship.
- To meet the minimum requirements of HACCP.
- Make suggestions about aesthetic improvements.

To be successful will have demonstrated experience working with industrial cleaning equipment, excellent verbal and interpersonal skills and able to prioritise workload and demonstrate good organisational skills.

Experience working in an acute Hospital setting and qualifications in Health Services or equivalent will be highly regarded.

- Salary: $49,697 + 11% Superannuation
- Casual position, working various shifts across Monday to Sunday
