**The client**
Our client is a leading top-tier professional services firm based in the Brisbane CBD.

**The role**
Our client is looking for a Team Assistant to support their Business Advisory unit. The primary purpose of this role is to provide high level support to the senior leadership across the team. Your role will include a range of PA/administrative support tasks and some direct liaison with clients.

**Duties**:

- Assist with preparation of client tax and external audit collations.
- Processing of new clients (e.g., updating APS, electronic file creation, assisting with the preparation of ethical/engagement letters, etc).
- Assist BA accountants by accessing information via the Australian Tax Office (ATO) portal (e.g., checking tax lodgement status, changing addresses, downloading prefill reports and other workpapers, etc).
- Assist with management of physical tax and audit client records.
- Assist accountants and auditors with scanning of client files as required.
- Assist with the management of incoming/outgoing mail.
- Assist with reception/front of house duties and liaise with clients as required from time to time.
- Preparation of fees
- Undertaking regular bank reconciliations for client matter files

**You**
To be successful for this role. You will have:

- Proven experience in an administration support role in a professional services environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to use information technology and systems in particular Microsoft Office Suite, APS, HowNow, and Xero.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
