**About the Role**:
The Project Officer, Preschool works as part of a team to provide statewide leadership and expertise in evidence informed, high quality pedagogy, assessment and curriculum. They will bring specific knowledge and expertise in preschool education, the Early Years Framework and National Quality Standards. They will work collaboratively to develop strategic, contextualised approaches to enhance continuous improvement.
To support the learning and development of 3-5-year-old children, aligned to the Early Years Learning framework, the role works collaboratively with educators, leaders and the early years community, providing leadership and strategic support to implement a connected approach to early years curriculum.
**Special Conditions and Eligibility**:
Applicants must be either currently registered or able to be registered to teach in South Australia. If not permanent with the Education Department, applicants must meet the department’s minimum employment requirements before taking up an appointment.
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
STL3: $145,545 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation.
