**About the Opportunity**

Due to consistent growth across our business, we have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Representative to join our high performing team in Brisbane QLD 4076.

This role will see you servicing allocated customers in order to meet customers' needs and expectations, promoting products and technical solutions, achieving sales and gross profit targets whilst actively generating new business in order to grow sales and meet new business objectives.

Your responsibilities in this role will include;
- Achieve agreed annual sales and gross profit targets
- Service allocated customers to both meet current requirements and develop further opportunities
- Grow sales and gross profit through the generation of leads and new business development
- Promote long term business partnerships with key customers
- Recommend technically competent solutions to customers, seeking technical support for technically complex requirements
- Prepare and submit quotes to customers
- Gather market intelligence regarding competitor strengths, weaknesses, capacity, new products, pricing and strategy
- Participate in sales meetings, marketing events and other relevant activities as required.

**About You**

To be considered for this role, you will possess;
- Extensive hydraulics industry experience in sales of complex technical solutions
- Demonstrated successful sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and engineering drawings
- Ability to interpret part manuals and catalogues
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of initiative, drive and self-motivation
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- A desire to grow and develop a long standing career within the Berendsen business.

The position will attract an annual salary up to $100,000 + Super, commensurate with your qualifications, experience and accomplishments. A fully maintained company vehicle would be provided during employment.
