A fantastic opportunity exists for a talented individual to join the Corporate Services and Operations Branch as Facilities Assistant at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
The Operations and Business Technology Branch is responsible for developing strategies and providing advice, guidance and services to the department in relation to digital technology and communications, ICT Project Management Office (PMO), information security, information and records management, accommodation, workplace and environmental management, and fleet and chauffeur services.
As the Facilities Assistant, you will have highly developed customer focus and outstanding stakeholder management skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with departmental stakeholders to ensure business needs and expectations are understood and planned.
In this role you will support a range of projects being undertaken by the branch including fit-outs, relocations, accommodation planning and workspace management. This role is based at 35 Collins Street but required to attend various DPC locations throughout the Melbourne CBD.
This position offers the opportunity to complement a small Accommodation and Office Community team and provide direction and support in the provision of facilities, accommodation and office community services.
**About you**
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of accommodation and facilities processes, guidelines and practice, including security control measures.
- Strong administrative skills with duties including maintaining accurate records, updating databases, invoicing,reporting.
- Demonstrated willingness to be adaptable to meet deadlines in pressurised situations.
- Highly developed service excellence skills and ability to use initiative to meet client's needs.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with a diverse stakeholder group.
Mandatory requirements:
A valid Victorian driver's license.
