The opportunity to join the Operations team for Nasdaq Trade Surveillance (NTS). This technology powers surveillance and compliance for over 170+ market participants across over 200+ markets globally. What You Will Do- Perform real-time monitoring of systems for software/hardware errors, failures and capacity issues; troubleshoot, diagnose and escalate to senior associates- Follow procedures for startup and shutdown of core systems and perform recovery procedures, scheduling, backups, and monitor batch processes and troubleshoots when necessary- Configure, install, maintain and upgrade computer systems hardware and software- Write scripts and tools to assist with the automation of operational tasks

What We Expect-
- At least 6 years of experience in a similar role involving Linux support and scripting e.g. Python, Bash, Perl- Demonstrated experience in the following: Atlassian products including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket; Jenkins, GIT, Puppet, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog and/or Zabbix- General knowledge of cloud concept and environment- Flexibility to accommodate occasional weekend work
