We are looking to appoint an experienced leader to head the Languages faculty. Leading a diverse, cohesive, and dedicated team of professionals, through modelling outstanding teaching and learning practices and by combining inquiry-based pedagogy with real world connections, this role will create opportunities for students to develop a passion for languages and an appreciation for different cultures alongside independent habits of lifelong learning. In addition, the role contributes significantly to the academic leadership of Trinity Grammar School.

Trinity offers the NSW curriculum including HSC as well as the International Baccalaureate (IBDP) in French, German, Latin, Classical Greek and Chinese language study. Whilst experience in teaching IBDP is advantageous, it is not essential. Trinity will provide training to the successful applicant.
The position attracts an above Agreement teaching salary between $118,720 - $134,918 plus a generous Leadership Level 2 allowance. The School will offer an ongoing teaching role with an initial 3-year fixed term leadership component as Head of Faculty.

- Essential Criteria_
- Formal teaching qualifications in Languages
- Current registration with NESA (including recent experience teaching in a classroom)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Valid NSW Working with Children Check (required prior to commencement)
- Valid COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Desirable Criteria_
- Post graduate qualifications in Education Leadership or a specialty area
- Highly Accomplished Teacher with Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
- Demonstrated experience in leading Teaching and Learning initiatives in a Secondary School landscape
- Demonstrate professional knowledge through presenting and attending external workshops, conferences and leadership within a professional association.
- Experience in teaching International Baccalaureate curriculum
- A current COVID-19 vaccination certificate
