**About the Role**

An opportunity has arisen for a Security Officer to join our team based in Murarrie. You will be responsible for maintain a protected and secure environment for all persons on Company premises and to ensure the chain of custody of product from collection to receipting.

Responsibilities include:

- Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment and access points and permitting entry
- Monitor visitors entering and exiting the warehouse
- Review visitor log and issue visitor badges
- Monitor and record the movement of all inbound and outbound vehicles and freight.
- Monitor staff leaving the warehouse and that they are using the correct exit
- Ensure all employees, contractors and visitors are inducted and wearing correct PPE before entering the workplace.
- Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures to the Warehouse Manager or Operations Director.
- Incident report writing through logbooks and computer-based systems

**About you**
- A Certificate III in Security Operations Current along with First Aid and CPR certificate are desirable but not a requirement for the role
- Well-developed skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Well-presented and reliable
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong Team player

**Salary**: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
