About The Role
Under the direction of the Team Leader, Foundations Skills, you will be responsible for identifying and designing learning and assessment resources to meet course requirements for our Foundation Skills courses (and other programs as required) within agreed timeframes.
Your role will focus on the design of new accredited and non-accredited materials using visual design techniques and plain language, to ensure our courses meet the needs of our Deaf and hard of hearing learners.
**Main responsibilities of the role include**:
Identify, plan and write content for our accredited and non-accredited foundation skills courses.
Ensure the development of our courses are suitable for Deaf and hard of hearing learners.
Design clear and engaging training and learning content.
Ensure course content is effective, consistent and compliant.
About You
TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or experience in adult education.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in instructional design with previous exposure to RTOs and AQF framework (preferably in Foundation Skills).
Excellent writing skills with demonstrated experience writing content linked to specific units of competency.
Experience adjusting training and assessment materials to meet various learning needs.
Understanding of RTO Standards.
Creativity and ability to design engaging content.
High attention to detail.
Reliable time management skills and ability to complete projects within tight timeframes.

Qualifications in Auslan or relevant experience.
