**The opportunity**
As an IT Service Desk Officer, you will be the first point of contact for IT inquiries, providing high quality IT support to employees, guests and students of Melbourne Business School. This support will include providing training to stakeholders and providing assistance with computers, mobile devices and audio-visual equipment.
Reporting to the Service Desk Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide excellent customer service to staff, students and guests of the school.
- Incident Management and Service Desk Support, including providing advice, assistance and operational support in the use of computer hardware and software.
- Teaching space audio/visual equipment troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Assistance with deployment of computers, mobile devices, software and associated hardware.
- Provide assistance with relevant projects as required.
**About you**
- Experience in both desktop support and audio-visual support environments.
- Knowledge or familiarity of ITIL foundations.
- Strong customer service background.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Previous work within an Education Institution would be highly desired but not essential.
- Certificate level qualifications in Information Technology related discipline will be highly regarded.**

This role requires flexibility in shifts within the open hours of the Service Desk, which are 7:30am - 6.30pm Monday - Thursday; 7:30am - 6pm Friday. In this position you will be required to have the later shift - 10.30am - 6.30pm Monday - Thursday and 10.00am - 6.00pm Friday.
