**North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre - Artarmon, Sydney**

North Shore Veterinary Specialist & Emergency Centre is a leading referral hospital located in Artarmon, just a short walk from St Leonards and Artarmon Stations. We provide gold-standard care through our Specialist, Emergency, and General Practice services, operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Due to staff movement, we are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Receptionist / Client Services professional to join our friendly front-of-house team on a Permanent Full-Time basis.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy, people-focused environment, enjoys variety, and understands the vital role that a cohesive reception team plays in delivering an exceptional client experience.

**About You**

You will bring warmth, professionalism, and energy to every interaction and take pride in delivering exceptional service. You will also have:

- A genuine passion for caring for our patients and their owners.
- Proven experience in a strong customer service or administrative role.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- A reliable work ethic and stable employment history.
- High emotional intelligence and empathy.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- The ability to stay calm under pressure and multitask effectively.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Word, Excel).
- A collaborative approach and willingness to take direction.

Knowledge of RxWorks or ezyVet would be an advantage, though training will be provided for the right person.

**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Welcoming and assisting clients and their pets.
- Scheduling appointments for multiple veterinarians.
- Maintaining accurate client and patient records.
- Processing insurance claims and pathology results.
- Handling bank reconciliations and general administrative duties.
- Providing support to veterinarians and management.
- Assisting with reception presentation, stock deliveries, and OTC sales.
