**The Opportunity**:
Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager | Marketing & PR, the Head of Marketing Technology & Insights takes responsibility for marketing automation, digital CX, and customer insights across Fitness & Lifestyle Group's (FLG) Australia & New Zealand's portfolio of leading fitness brands - including Goodlife Health Clubs, Fitness First, Zap Fitness 24-7, Barry's and Jetts New Zealand.
Overseeing a team of three specialists, our ideal Head of Marketing Technology & Insights will be data-driven and experience-led. They will strive to ensure our marketing is customer-centric, led by insight and driven by efficiency, creating campaigns that are relevant to our audience and commercialised as revenue back into the business.
FLG is committed to promoting a healthy work-life balance. This is a hybrid role, mixing 60/40 office (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) and work-from-home responsibilities.
This role can operate from either of our modern offices in Sydney or Brisbane.
**Key duties and responsibilities will include**:
- Lead the strategic development and roadmap of marketing technology in collaboration with internal stakeholders and agencies
- Serve as the owner of all marketing technology platforms and digital optimisation and transformation projects for FLG Australia & NZ (including but limited to SFMC, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Campaign Manager, Ask Nicely, Formstack & Contentful)
- Champion digital customer experience and develop impactful and measurable strategies to improve UX, SEO and CRO
- Lead the strategy for omni-channel customer journeys and campaigns across the full lifecycle
- Own the market insights & research, including Voice of Customer (NPS, CSAT) and other customer insight-led initiatives
- Lead the presentation and communication of research and data and provide research advice and guidance to key stakeholders to ensure research outcomes are understood and accurately interpreted.
- Own and lead the implementation of digital analytics and reporting.
- Drive and oversee the implementation of relevant people leadership processes (KPI setting, performance appraisals, and talent/succession reviews)
- Promote a culture of success and accountability with the team and help the team comfortably learn from success, failure, and feedback
**To be successful in this role you will need**:
- Proven experience with Customer Insights and VOC
- Demonstrated experience in Customer Experience & omni channel Lifecyle Marketing strategy.
- Proven experience in reporting and analytics
- Experience in leading teams and working with a range or stakeholders - including Executive, direct reports, operations, analytics, technology, and external partners.
- Natural ability to focus on big ideas that drive significant change but enjoys diving deep into the details.
- Data-orientated with excellent analytical skills and ability to generate and quickly execute upon actionable recommendations based on the synthesis and analyses of data
