As an Operations Supervisor in Banksmeadow, you will be responsible for all aspects of safety, performance, resourcing and team leadership. You'll overcome daily logístical challenges to ensure warehouse operations run smoothly. Developing strategies to increase profitability and business efficiency while maintaining a strong customer focus with a safety mindset.

Working hours: 03:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Your duties will include:
- Manage the service levels, productivity and efficiency of the shift- Ensure that Customer requirements are met, in the areas of service.- Assist with strategies to minimise the cost of transporting goods.- Oversee the maintenance of equipment that is utilised on the shift.- Ensure the staff is trained in local procedures and in the use of transport and operational equipment.- Develop and maintain a professional and motivated employee team by conducting regular communication, counselling activities and tool boxing of the staff.- Eliminate down time due to accident, injury or work-related illness by ensuring the implementation and maintenance of safe working practices and return to work programmes.- Report regularly to Management on distribution matters- Monitor and maintain costs of the shift as well as timely reporting of them.

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- It is essential that you have transport and/or warehousing experience in a similar role.- Time Management Skills.- IT literate (Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint)- Strong interpersonal/communication and reporting skills.- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.- Ability to work in a team environment.- Experience in uplift operations as well as line haul and aircraft loading.- Exposure and experience with automated sortation systems.- Dangerous Goods Acceptance qualification.- WH&S co-ordination- Airside marshalling and load training.
