ACMI is seeking a Senior Advisor, CEO & Programming to manage the operations of the CEO’s office and serve as a primary liaison between the CEO, the ACMI Board, Senior Leadership Team, and key external stakeholders in government, industry, and the cultural sector. Reporting to the CEO, this is a full-time fixed term parental leave cover position (10 November 2025 - June 2026). Based in Melbourne/'s Fed Square, hybrid.

What you/'ll do

ACMI is seeking a Senior Advisor, CEO & Programming to manage the operations of the CEO/'s office and serve as a primary liaison between the CEO, the ACMI Board, Senior Leadership Team, and key external stakeholders in government, industry, and the cultural sector. The role supports the CEO and Programming leadership on cross-organisational strategic initiatives, while overseeing the CEO office/'s operational requirements including focusing on systems improvement, consistency, and collaboration. Reporting to the CEO this is a full-time fixed term parental leave cover position (10 November 2025 - June 2026).

What you/'ll bring to the role

- Experience providing high level support to senior leaders. Professional, reliable, and collaborative, with the ability to work with discretion and confidentiality
- Strong IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and customer service skills
- Ability to problem solve, prioritise activities, manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines and budgets. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to identify issues and develop solutions. Ability to identify and implement improvements to systems and processes and to manage service delivery issues independently.
- Budget management skills and experience researching, preparing reports and correspondence with a high level of attention to detail.
