What you will doAs our Principal Portfolio Analyst within our high performing team, you will: - Manage, monitor and report on corporate performance of the investment portfolio including risk, outputs, outcomes and benefits in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Analyse information and clearly communicate useful and relevant findings about DAF activities and initiatives to support effective organisational performance management and investment decision-making by Senior Leaders and governance committees, and to meet statutory whole-of-government reporting requirements. Provide advice and build capability in performance management across the department through education, training and communities of practice. Key to this is promoting an understanding of the portfolio that consists of projects, programs, research, development and extension (RD&E) initiatives and core business activities. Prepare briefing notes, presentations, information papers, reports and correspondence on corporate performance and the investment portfolio including matters for discussion with departmental executives, Ministers and other stakeholders. Contribute to a culture which fosters collaboration, evidence-based decision making, innovation, and performance orientation. Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to build trusted and strong working relationships. Represent DAF on forums and committees and in whole of government processes as required. Contribute to other activities of the DAF EMPO and Corporate business group as required.What you will bringEssential requirements

- Experience or exposure to corporate reporting, portfolio management or project/program management
- Excellent communication skills.
