**About the Role**

This position is responsible for implementing, maintaining and the continuous improvement of WH&S systems across this well know brand. The role is responsible for supporting the implementation and ongoing improvement of health and safety processes and procedures in accordance with legislative requirements.

**Duties**

This role will be reporting directly to the Group HR Manager. Some of the duties will involve:

- Develop, Implement and Manage Group WHS Strategy across the head office, retail stores and warehouse.
- Development, Implement and Manage a WHS Management System, process, procedures, and forms, in accordance with applicable standards and legislation.
- Understand the risk profile, develop proactive strategies to avoid, control and/or reduce risk and injuries.
- Build effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Drive positive WHS outcomes by working collaboratively across the business.
- Continually assist in the improvement of health and safety system and processes to ensure consistency across the business.
- Assist in the identification and facilitation of strategies and programs to mitigate claims potentials and improve the safety of all team members.

**_This role is based on site 5 days a week and it can be either full time or part time._**

**Skills & Experience**

To be successful in securing this opportunity you will have the following:

- Certificate IV or higher in Occupational Health and Safety
- Return To Work Certificate
- Level 2 First Aid
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Retail background is a MUST
