**Overview**
**Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities**
- Managing HSW hazards and incidents across APAC through daily monitoring of HSW LinkCare database and follow up of individual cases in a timely manner whilst demonstrating care and aligning to the Link Group company values.
- Maintaining HSW databases and records to ensure accuracy and compliance to hazard and injury management processes
- Conducting formal incident investigations
- Reviewing employee ergonomic self-assessment checklists and implementing corrective actions in consultation with the business managers
- Developing and monitoring return to work plans in consultation with the employee, business and treating practitioners with the aim of reducing lost time, promoting early intervention and early return to work
- Guiding and supporting the business and HR team to increase capability in management of all work place injuries including non
- work related incidents that impact on employees undertaking employed duties
- Assisting in the promotion of health safety and wellbeing initiatives, aligned to the Link Group Wellbeing Plan
- Assisting in developing and maintain the health safety and wellbeing management system.
- Developing and delivery of HSW training for HR Business partners and Link Group businesses
- Ensuring prompt processing of claims in consultation with insurer, HRBP and business in regards to claims and strategic interventions
- Assist in the delivery of strategic health safety and wellbeing projects and initiatives, including the LinkCare hazard and injury online software system
- Managing and facilitating the HSR Committee nationally across Australia
- Managing First Aid Services nationally across Australia
- Conduct health and safety audits
- Conducting risk assessments
- Work in consultation with Facilities to ensure compliance for first aid
- Analyse HSW data, identifying trends and develop programs to reduce the risk of injury and promote health and safety culture across the business
- Develop and present monthly safety metric dashboards across the business
**Experience & Personal Attributes**
- Senior First aid level 2 qualifications
- Mental health first aid qualifications
- Qualification in a safety or health related field
- Return to Work/Injury management qualifications and experience working with complex cases
- Worker Compensation claims experience and relevant legislation from a National perspective
- Knowledge of best practice ergonomics and trained in undertaking ergonomic assessments
- Sound understanding of Australian/NZ WHS legislation and regulations
- A demonstrated understanding of common workplace injuries, treatment and medical terminology.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience in development of policies and procedures
- Experience in undertaking workplace audits and inspections
