This is a parental leave cover contract role based in Sydney.
**Enough about us What you’ll do as a Digital Insights Specialist**:
As a Digital Insights Specialist, you will be responsible for timely and accurate reporting of audience metrics to Paramount’s broadcast TV and streaming platforms. This role is a key support for Paramount’s sales, streaming and content teams through analysis, research and strategic recommendations and has a focus on 10’s streaming assets, across the VOZ combined TV and streaming ratings dataset and 10’s first-party analytics data.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Answer brief requests from Sales and external clients, ensuring 10’s streaming audience is represented accurately and positively
- Support detailed ratings analysis for content, marketing, social media and commercial data, alongside the Analytics Lead
- Train the wider business on digital analytics and prepare ready-made dashboards and reports
- Support the broader team on competitor analysis of streaming platforms and viewing trends
- Ensure compliance with Paramount’s Global Business Conduct Statement (BCS), all internal policies and procedures and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
**What are we looking for in a Digital Insights Specialist? What’s important?**
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business, Marketing, Media or a related field
- 5+ years' experience in insights or analytics, ideally from a publisher, media owner or media agency background
- Proven experience working with large-scale media datasets, preferably in TV/Streaming or digital media with detailed understanding of media research software such as eTAM VOZ, TV Map and Nielsen CMV
- Exposure to data analytics tools and platforms (e.g. SQL, Python, BI platforms)
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels in addition to a high degree of problem solving skills, agility, attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
