are looking for a performance-driven
Digital Lead
with proven experience creating digital-first content for business and finance brands.

You'll step into a pivotal role in creating, managing, and publishing evergreen and timely digital content and related social content, identifying the most relevant and engaging headlines and hooks that demonstrate sharp thinking and a clear understanding of channel best practices and your audience.

A key part of your role will involve writing—from crafting engaging long-form digital features to producing punchy social posts, email newsletters, and audio scripts. You will ensure content is optimised for each platform and aligned with client objectives.

You will work closely with the
Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD)
as the primary digital and social contact, liaising directly to understand their content ecosystem needs and translating them into compelling, high-performing outputs.

You will be responsible for the amplification of existing print and digital content, as well as creating and curating insightful, informative, inspirational, and entertaining social and audio content that is grounded in insight.

You will be the core digital and social stakeholder on this account. As such, the role is both hands-on and strategic.

Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and optimise high-quality digital, social, and email content tailored to AICD's audience.
  • Plan, schedule, publish, and report on content performance across multiple platforms.
  • Manage and project manage long-form digital content and collaborate with designers on social and video assets.
  • Liaise with AICD stakeholders to gather requirements, pitch ideas, and present performance insights.
  • Amplify existing content and produce trend-inspired social-first and audio content.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital, social, and SEO best practices and provide expert guidance internally.

Who are you?

  • 7+ years' experience in digital and social content, ideally in a client, agency, or publisher environment.
  • Experienced in creating and amplifying content that balances audience engagement and business objectives.
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, SEO/AEO, and content performance analytics.
  • Collaborative yet autonomous, with a solutions-focused 'can do' attitude.
  • Creative, analytical, and comfortable leading content projects from concept to execution.
  • Confident communicator, able to report on performance and provide actionable insights.
