**Responsibilities**
- Develop detailed project plans and schedules, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation and ensure all activities are planned and coordinated effectively
- Manage the allocation of resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment
- Monitor resource usage and adjust plans as necessary to meet project demands.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with project planning and execution.
- Develop and implement risk management plans to address potential issues and ensure project success
- Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including project updates, progress reports, and performance metrics
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project planners and schedulers
**About you**
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Commerce, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced skills and experience with Primavera P6.
- Extensive experience managing project planning and scheduling teams.
- Significant project management services experience, including scope control, Earned Value Management (EVM), project planning and scheduling, estimating, and procurement planning.
- Familiarity with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Project Schedule Management.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret social, political, and operational environments.
- Previous experience in a Defence project or manufacturing environment (desired).
- Relevant management or leadership qualification.
**Eligibility**
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
