It’s all aboutthe Job

As their Technical Manager you will be responsible for the design and quotation process, which is where your mechanical/electrical experience will be key. Design efficiency and clarity across requirements covering measurements and design systems within guidelines for both the supply and installations, backing up with all required documentation. You will be a Wizard working with Design Wizard or similar design/quote program. You will be responding to the inhouse Customer Service Team, occasionally the customer directly, but mainly building relationships with the Architects, builders, plumbers, installation team and other State Manager requests for new quotations and able to guide them through which systems and products are best placed to benefit the customer needs.

Technical documentation is a large requirement of this role, so you will be comfortable with creating and updating documentation including data sheets, user manuals and diagrams to fully support the product sales. You will be assessing drawings, accurately measuring plans, designing best fit systems and support preparing the quotations for the customer service team to complete order acknowledgement documents for the customer.

This role is diverse and creative with some internal projects needing your expertise, across new products to market, new technologies readiness and availability as well as internal business technical support. You will be playing with electrical, mechanical and hydro technologies and having the ability to stretch your technical mind, ensuring customers never get “hot under the collar” or “frost bite”
