**About the Project**:
Join our dedicated team based on site for the exciting redevelopment of Penrith Stadium, a project close to the hearts of the local community and Penrith rugby fans.

This landmark initiative involves demolishing of the existing stadium and constructing a new state-of-the-art facility.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project that will enhance the game-day experience and support our local sports culture with modern amenities and cutting-edge design.

**Responsibilities of the role**:
The Safety Manager plays a crucial role on our projects by implementing and controlling safety management requirements, strategies, and initiatives.

Leading a team of HSES professionals and working closely with the Project Leadership Team and other key stakeholders, their expertise and dedication to maintaining a safe workplace will contribute to the overall success of the project.
- Provide technical support to the Project Leadership Team to develop and implement an effective culture that is focused on HSC
- Drive, monitor, report and continuously improve HSC performance for the project
- Develop and implement HSC education as well as compliance and improvement programs for employees, clients, contractors and visitors
- Develop and guide project safety professionals
- Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory and company safety requirements

**What we are looking for**:

- Advanced Diploma Safety in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
- Experience working on $100m+ building projects
- Bachelor's degree in Quality, Safety, Environmental, Project Management or other associated disciplines ¬TAE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Construction safety management (5+ years)
- Audit management practices (2-3 years)
- Quantitative and qualitative risk assessment and monitoring of risk controls and actions involved in delivery and implementation of projects
- Knowledge of Safety legislation and statutes (especially those relating to Comcare), and ability to interpret any applicable statutes or legislation relevant to Project
- Knowledge of Environmental legislation and statutes, and ability to interpret any applicable statutes or legislation relevant to Project
