Portfolio Analyst

FinXL IT Professional Services is an established innovative Australian company providing technology
enabled business solutions and consulting services across a number of industries including Telecommunications, Commercial, Government and Finance.

We are a seeking an experienced and switched on Portfolio Analyst for an initial 12-month fixed
term contract based in Sydney.
- Key focus areas:

- Monthly financial activities:

- Invoicing, purchase orders and non-resource accruals
- Cost recovery
- Preparation of team data for forecasting submission
- Forecast vs Actuals variance analysis for monthly financials
- Resource management:

- Tracking and entering of resource effort into web-based workforce tool to enable
accurate forecasting, capitalisation, and cost recovery, and to support workforce
planning activities
- Tracking resource movements between delivery teams and across delivery areas
- Reconciling timesheets and vendor invoices
- Reporting:

- Financial and team-based reporting to provide data driven insights
- Support Pod lead to manage capacity, team efficiency metrics
- Skills/Experience:

- Project/program financials
- Program/project coordination
- Reporting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Agile experience
- Jira & Confluence experience a bonus
- Organised and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Adaptable
