**Portfolio Planning Analyst - Local Government**
$61.83ph + Super

Mon - Friday 0800 - 1700

Maxima, on behalf of our client, is seeking an experienced **Portfolio Planning Analyst** to join their team Dedicated to ensuring excellence in all that they do with high levels of job satisfaction & quality in the service they provide.

**Key Responsibilities**:
This role will support the project portfolio planning including the development and maintenance of the portfolio schedule, resource commitments, portfolio capacity and financial planning for Local Council.
- Work with portfolio planning and business resources to develop and manage meaningful information about the portfolio with a view to deliver an optimised and balanced portfolio.
- Lead regular review checkpoints with sponsors and project managers to ensure data is timely, relevant and accurate.
- Develop, implement, and manage a range of appropriate communication methods to ensure regular and consistent messaging is delivered to stakeholders.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Tertiary qualification in relevant fields such as business management, project management, information management, engineering, human services or similar (e.g. Bachelor of Business).
- Extensive experience supporting portfolio planning activities.
- Knowledge of the breadth and complexity of project / program / portfolio management (P3M).
- Experience within a public sector environment, preferably within a local council (highly regarded).
- Highly developed conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a specialist / technical environment.
