LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT - Full Time - Australian Wide Opportunities

Reporting to the Colleague Development Manager, As a member of the L&D team of three you will be responsible for providing technical claims and customer training to the Professional Services Division. The role covers the complete learning lifecycle from discovery of training needs to evaluation of an implemented solution.

Primary Purpose of the role
- Conduct consultation and training needs analysis to identify learning and development needs.
- Develop training materials for various training contexts (including face to face, virtual, e-learning and blended).
- Deliver training using face to face, virtual, e-learning and blended approaches
- Work with the Colleague Development Manager to project manage the planning, development and delivery of training solutions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create or outsource industry-specific course content
- Evaluate success of training implementation by assessing achievement of learning objectives and transfer of knowledge to continuously improve training solutions and identify future learning needs.
- Utilise a variety of techniques and concepts to develop and deliver training programs and strategies.
- Manage the learning experience consistent with company philosophy and company-wide strategy.
- In collaboration with the appropriate service lines, design and develop technical documentation and user manuals.
- Regularly evaluate and update existing training programs and documentation for currency, accuracy and compliance.
- Produce reports of training activities and compliance rates as required.

About you/experience/knowledge
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a learning and development role
- Experience in high level of consultation with business stakeholders to understand training needs
- Proven ability in the development and delivery of workplace training in a range of formats (coaching, mentoring, face to face, virtual, e-learning, blended)
- Effective user of MS Office
- Educational writing such as preparation of user guides and FAQs
