**About the role**

We have an exciting, newly created role within our Counter Fraud Intelligence Hub for a Fraud Intelligence Team Manager, to join our team in Brisbane, here at RACQ. As a Fraud Intelligence Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the fraud intelligence function within the organisation. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to identify, prevent, and mitigate fraud across all lines of business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, claims, and data analytics, to identify trends and patterns in fraudulent activity. You will also be responsible for training and educating team members on fraud detection and fraud prevention best practices.

**About you**

As a fraud professional it is important that you have the following:

- **Strong analytical skills**:As a Fraud Intelligence Team Manager, you will be expected to analyse large amounts of data to identify patterns and trends in fraudulent activity. The ability to analyse data and draw meaningful conclusions is essential to this role.
- **Problem-solving skills**: Fraud prevention and detection requires the ability to think critically and solve problems. As a Fraud Intelligence Team Manager, you will be expected to be able to identify and resolve issues related to fraud.
- **Leadership abilities**: As a manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of fraud analysts. You should be able to effectively delegate tasks, provide clear direction, and manage the performance of team members.
- **Communication skills**: You will be required to communicate effectively with team members, as well as with other departments and external partners. This includes the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and ideas, as well as to listen actively and understand the perspectives of others.
- **Industry knowledge**: A strong understanding of industry-specific fraud trends and best practices is essential to this role. This includes knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, as well as an understanding of the products and services offered by RACQ Insurance.
