**About the Role**
We are looking for a compassionate and energetic **Child Care Worker** to join our team at Wandilla Magic Childcare Centre. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the growth and well-being of children through engaging activities and hands-on care. As a valued team member, you will help create a welcoming, safe, and stimulating environment where children can flourish.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise and provide quality care for children in a nurturing environment.
- Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and creativity.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized space for children.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development.
- Assist children with their daily routines, including eating, dressing, and toileting, while promoting independence.
- Supervise hygiene practices, including diaper changes and toilet training, ensuring the health and safety of children.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and policies.
**Requirements**:
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards this qualification).
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A passion for working with children and contributing to their growth and development.
