**Job Overview**:
As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with various needs, including those with disabilities, elderly clients, and others requiring care. You will provide compassionate support to help them lead fulfilling and independent lives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Support clients in accessing the community, including attending appointments, social activities, and recreational outings.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medication as required and in accordance with care plans.
- Monitor and report on clients’ physical and emotional well-being.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided.
- Follow care plans and ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Essential**:

- Previous experience in a similar role or in the healthcare sector.
- A genuine passion for helping others and making a difference.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- A current First Aid Certificate.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent).
- **Desirable**:

- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in aged care.
- Knowledge of relevant healthcare legislation and regulations.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $41.76 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Support Work: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 29/04/2025
