**Job Description**:
We currently have a great opportunity to kickstart and accelerate your new Facilities Management career by joining a portfolio within our QLD Real Estate Management (REM) team.
This is a role for the right person, provides an internal career pathway to progressing to a Facilities Manager with Colliers.
This role will see you working closely with both the Facilities and Property Managers across a portfolio of assets (both commercial and industrial), to assist and learn the requirements of how to efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of key commercial and industrial sites in Brisbane.
This is a fantastic opportunity to commence, continue and build your career in the field of facilities management. As a key member of the facilities management team, you will foster key relationships with tenants, service providers, and clients whilst also making recommendations to improve the building’s overall performance, risk profiles, presentation, and condition.
In addition, and with training provided, the roles responsibilities will be to.
- Assist and oversee the maintenance and operation of building services
- Provide maintenance advice ensuring clients’ quality and safety targets are met
- Assist and ensure all planned preventative maintenance programmes are clearly documented, maintained, and completed on time.
- Assist and oversee project-based work including fit-outs and refurbishments
- Assist the team with the day-to-day administrative components and responsibilities, such as work orders, audit reports, budget management, client reporting, risk management, permits, reactive works as examples.
- Manage contractor invoices /queries, use the Yardi system to raise / issue purchase orders
- Complete smart sheets for FM and PM compliance task management
- Follow up Contractors on works requested i.e., blocked toilets
- Follow up tenants for Bank guarantees / insurance, raise monthly tenant adhoc charges
- Assist with TIFS, lease audits and car park management
- General administration including filing and key management while assisting with soft services.
**Qualifications**:
It is highly desirable that you are competent in using Microsoft office, specifically word and excel, with strong capabilities to learn and operate various Facilities Management online platforms.
