WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

**About the Team**

This is a rare chance to become part of the international LAND 400 Phase 2 Project Management team being based in Brisbane and working collaboratively together with colleagues in Europe to deliver a great capability to the Australian Army. This is a developmental role for a talented project, engineering, operations or procurement professional looking for an opportunity to support the management of a major Defence capability program.

The Program Officer - Mission System is a multi-faceted role providing support to program planning, coordination of program deliverables, definition, collection and reporting of program metrics, and support to the overall health of the Mission System program as part of Land 400 Phase 2.
- As Program Officer - Mission System, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:

- Supporting the development of comprehensive, integrated and coordinated program plans for a number of unique mission system variants, subsystems and operations aspects;
- Planning, implementation and management of program deliverables;
- Definition, collection and reporting of project metrics (engineering performance, schedule, costs, dependencies, resources):

- Support the implementation of a product lifecycle management system, through transitioning program deliverables into the system and assisting with process development around this system; and
- Support the overall project marketing approach for the through integration of market and customer intelligence into planned program deliverables and marketing campaigns.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline;
- Can-do attitude and a consultative nature along with excellent communication and presentation skills;
- High-level planning, reporting and project execution skills;
- Qualifications/certifications/demonstrated experience in Project Management;
- Demonstrated experience with program deliverables and management of program documentation;
- Excellent written English communication skills using engineering terminology;
- Experience in managing cross-functional and geographically dispersed business stakeholders;
- Must currently hold or be eligible to gain the NV1 Australian Security Clearance and
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (Germany) if required.
