About The Role and Responsibilities

Oasis Services Australia Pty Ltd is a registered NDIS provider based in Victoria, dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals living with disabilities. Our mission is to empower our clients to lead fulfilling and independent lives by providing tailored support services that promote inclusion, dignity, and personal growth.

Tasks Include:

- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing clients
- Empowering and facilitation clients to become more independent, to increase skills and to improve their quality of life
- Supporting and facilitation community engagement and participation in a manner that promotes client acceptance
- Implementing client skills and activities programmes under limited supervision either individually or as part of a team as part of the delivery of disability services;
- Supervising or providing a wide range of personal care services to residents under limited supervision either individually or as part of a team as part of the delivery of disability services:

- Assisting in the development or implementation of resident care plans or the planning, cooking or preparation of the full range of meals under limited supervision either individually or as part of a team as part of the delivery of disability services.
- Perform elementary tasks within a community service program requiring knowledge of established work practices and procedures relevant to the work area;
- Writing and developing individual support plans for your customers;
- Supporting and assisting clients to appropriately manage their behaviour through the implementation of Behaviour Support and Management Plans
- Achieve outcomes which are clearly defined;
- Respond to enquiries;
- Assist senior employees with special projects;
- Provision of attendant care in home, day centre or community based.

Qualifications and other requirements expected from an Residential Care Officer
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services or equivalent
- A recent minimum of one year of relevant experience working similar role within the disability or aged care sector
- A valid driver license with your own reliable vehicle.
- Ability to work independently and without supervision.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of duty of care and person-centred approaches

Pay: $77,000.00 - $85,000.00 per hour

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
