**About the Role**
The Accounts Officer is responsible for a broad range of predominantly transactional finance duties, inclusive of payroll, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations and associated administration. The role is focused around the timely and accurate processing of a fortnightly payroll, assisting with accounts payable and accounts reconciliations, and on client invoicing and credit collection. The role ensures that all of these financial transactions and processes are performed in an accurate, effective and timely manner, whilst working closely with the management of the finance team and producing consistent reporting and feedback, allowing us to focus on continuously improving our financial processes.
**Key duties include**:
- Assisting the maintaining and processing of a fortnightly payroll process.
- Ensuring compliance with legislation and funding requirements.
- Adhering to organisational finance processes and policies.
- Account reconciliations and asset management.
**This role is being hired on a permanent full time basis and is located at our central offices in Belmont.**
**Skills & Experience**
As well as the above skills, the **Key Requirements **include:
- Previous experience within the aged care or other health sectors is desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience working within a broad range of transactional financial capacities is essential.
- Possess or willing to obtain all required vaccinations (including COVID-19 and influenza).
