**Food Facility Operations Manager**

**Salary**: $74,000 - $80,000 plus super

Join our family-owned business as we continue to grow and maintain our reputation for excellence in dairy distribution. We're seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee our specialized storage and distribution facilities.

**About the Role**:
As our facilities Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring our facilities operate at optimal efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and compliance. This role is crucial in supporting our mission to deliver premium dairy products with industry-leading shelf life.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and maintain temperature-controlled storage facilities to ensure optimal conditions for dairy products
- Manage preventive maintenance programs for critical refrigeration systems and equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain relevant documentation
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers for facility maintenance and repairs
- Supervise cleaning and sanitization programs to maintain food-grade facility standards
- Manage waste disposal and recycling programs in accordance with environmental regulations
- Develop and implement emergency response procedures for power failures or equipment malfunctions
- Optimize space utilization in storage areas and loading docks
- Monitor and control facility-related costs while maintaining quality standards
- Lead and coordinate facilities team members

**Required Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in facilities management
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
- Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations
- Excellence in team leadership and communication
