Job Description Summary

Service Stream's Power division are currently seeking an experienced Crane/ Borer Operator to join the Ausgrid team based out in Seven Hills.
About the Role

Scope of works will include Timber and steel pole replacements, defect rectification and emergency response. To be successful in this role you will hold a C6 or C2 crane licence and relevant experience

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Seven Hills, NSW

Reporting Line: Works Manager

Key Responsibilities:
As a Crane / Borer operator you will be joining an excellent team that is responsible for constructing and maintaining Ausgrid’s distribution electricity network to maintain the integrity of the network in a safe, reliable, and affordable manner to ensure an uninterrupted supply to customers across the network.

Award and compensation

Servicestream offer above market rates and appealing EBA and conditions which include a nine day fortnight with RDO, 15% super, various allowances and substantial overtime work.

About You:
To be considered for the role you must demonstrate previous experience working as crane/ borer operator, along with relevant training and HR licences.Day to day, you will be involved in the installation and maintenance of overhead powerlines carrying electricity to domestic, commercial and industrial users.

You will also demonstrate and possess the following:
- Strong understanding and appreciation of Health and Safety practices.- Ability to meet individual project productivity & target costs.- Hold a current licence to perform High Risk Work, Construction White / Blue Card.- Share our commitment to the highest quality of workmanship.- Desirable - Forklift licence, Chainsaw Ticket, Dogging ticket/s.
