We are looking for someone to join our team in Sydney to create clear, concise, and accurate technical and marketing content that effectively communicates the value and functionality of our commodity management technology, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to transform complex technical concepts into compelling sales, marketing, and training materials.
**Job Description** What you'll be doing**:
- Create and deliver sales, marketing, and training content for VERIDAPT’s fuel, energy, and commodity management platform in the mining, rail, and agricultural sectors.
- Develop messaging that communicates VERIDAPT’s technology (hardware, software, and services) value proposition, turning technical features into customer benefits.
- Organize and structure content to ensure logical flow and user-friendliness, tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Engage with customers and partners to gather insights for content development.
- Review and revise content for clarity, consistency, grammar, and adherence to style guides.
- Work with graphic designers to incorporate visual aids that enhance content.
- Continuously improve knowledge in technical domains and content analytics.
- Update and maintain existing content with the latest product features and industry trends, archiving outdated materials as needed.
- Create and maintain a content library with all relevant resources, ensuring it is easily accessible and organised.
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to meet project timelines, gather requirements, and incorporate feedback.
**Qualifications** You'll have**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in copywriting within technology, software, manufacturing, engineering, or commodity sectors.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style.
- Proven ability to write compelling content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Solid understanding of marketing and communication principles with a creative approach to content.
- Strong analytical skills to optimize content based on performance data.
- Excellent research skills to gather and synthesize information from internal and external sources.
- Ability to adapt writing tone and style for different audiences, products, and platforms.
- Strong time management and organisational skills to deliver high-quality content on time.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams and accept feedback.
- Travel may be required to conferences and or other offices/ mine sites as needed.
