Our client is a well known company based in Tuggerah, a 1.5 hour drive from Sydney on the Central Coast. They are a large privately owned and operated manufacturing business who have been operating for over 45 years.

The Software Development Team Leader is responsible for improving process automation and support tools for operational efficiencies. The role is also responsible for leading the ongoing development of manufacturing systems and data analytics in the business.

**Education & Qualifications**:

- MUST HAVE PROGRESS EXPERINCE
- Relevant tertiary qualification in ICT or equivalent
- At least four years’ experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, with limited supervision
- Extensive experience in developing, deploying, and integrating software solutions
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Software Development**:

- Analyses software requirements and participates in design control activities
- Resolves performance issues, making revisions when necessary
- Writes, reviews and revises product requirements and specifications
- Documents software development
- Participates in other areas of the software development process

**Information Technology Leadership**:

- Ensures team adherence to related policies and procedures
- Manage and ensure timely responses to software support helpdesk ticket queries
- Supporting the various departments with IT reporting requirements
- Minimising issues and downtime for technology-based production systems
- Create and maintain structured knowledge-based operational manuals and technical documentation
- Manage specific technology-based projects and ensure the anticipated financial and operational efficiencies are achieved
