Software Tester

Our client is a large and growing manufacturer and supplier of truss and timber products. We are seeking a Software Tester to join their operations based on the northern Gold Coast. Their story is one of success, starting from a small family operation and growing into a thriving business with an international reach.

This growth role complements an already robust team of detailers and software specialists in the development and maintenance of our client’s in-house truss detailing software. Your main responsibilities will be to use your expertise in truss/frame detailing and related computer programs to help drive the development of the software, including:

- End-user level testing
- Identifying errors/problems in the product pre-release
- Collaboration with the software team to ensure the release of a user-friendly product
- Ongoing customer support where required
- Previous truss detailing/estimating experience
- A high level of skill with detailing software and processes
- An affinity for problem solving to ensure an unrivalled product
- A high level of written and verbal communication amongst various stakeholders
- Previous software testing/support experience an advantage

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
