**About the role**:
The Oceania Securitisation team is part of MUFG's successful APAC Securitisation team within MUFG's Asian Investment Banking Division. The team works closely with local relationship coverage teams in Australia and New Zealand to provide product expertise across a wide range of securitisation structures, including warehouse financings, bespoke financings and other forms of facilities which utilise securitisation concepts.

Being an international bank with a global securitisation footprint, MUFG's Oceania Securitisation team benefits from a global product network, leveraging information, structures, and strategies across North America, EMEA and Japan.

In your role as an Associate, you will support the marketing and execution of Securitisation transactions and other solution based financings in Oceania.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Assisting in the execution of a robust product business plan with the Managing Director, Head of Securitisation Oceania that will drive accretive outcomes and business growth
- Support and enhance customer experience and outcomes
- Establish and build relationships with internal and external stakeholder, particularly Operations and regional members of AIBD-SEC
- Analyse, present and report on existing and new transactions from a risk/credit perspective to ensure transparency in portfolio development and management

**What we are looking for**:

- 3+ years of experience in banking or finance, preferably with 1+ years' experience in Securitisation and/or Structured Finance
- Undergraduate Business / Commerce / Law Degree from a leading university is essential
- Masters of Finance, MBA or CFA will be considered favourably
- Proficiency in the full suite of core Microsoft products, and will be strong in financial modelling
- Possess an understanding of financial and economic markets
- The ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally
- Has strong interpersonal and presentations skills
- Is a team player
- Is a self-starter who applies initiative and has drive and enthusiasm
- Has an analytical mindset and problem solving skills
- Has the ability to work independently and prioritise a number of tasks across various work streams and alongside a number of stakeholders
