Adelaide Venue Management Corporation (AVM) operates three of Adelaide’s most iconic and commercially successful venues - Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide Entertainment Centre and Coopers Stadium.

AVM currently has an exceptional opportunity for a suitably experienced and qualified senior finance professional and leader to join its team as Chief Financial Officer. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, as part of the Senior Management Team, this position is a vital contributor to the overall success of the organisation, through the effective management of all financial and governance functions - as well as overseeing insurance, payroll, procurement, information technology, risk management and contract management activities.

The position will definitely suit someone with an impressive track record in a senior financial accounting role in a large government and/or commercial environment.

It is a highly commercial role, so you'll need to relish the opportunity to develop, drive and execute appropriate financial strategies and business models within the organisation.

Having given more than 25 years’ of outstanding service, the incumbent has kindly provided us with generous notice of their impending retirement to allow for a thorough handover, noting that the newly appointed Chief Financial Officer will freely take over the reins as soon as they are ready to do so.
