**About the Company**
This company is a family owned civil construction company who have grown steadily over the last 30 years in both project value and number of staff.

Due to an increase in simultaneous projects, there is the opportunity to join the team on initial 6 month contract with the potential to extend.

**About the role**
Working on a road construction project in Western Sydney, you will work closely with the project delivery team to coordinate the implementation of robust WHS policies to RMS standards. You will liaise with direct staff, sub-contractors and suppliers helping to ensure compliance to Health & Safety and Environment procedures and cultivate a safety-first culture on site.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead Project WHS support and coordination
- Help ensure your project stays up to date and compliant with internal and external HSE requirements and legislation
- Site-based working out in the field with the crews
- Manage documentation, and inspections
- Liaise with sub-contractors ensure to facilitate HSE best practice
- Reporting on all project-related HSE issues

**Requirements**:

- Certificates and/or formal study in the field of health and safety or equivalent (Minimum Cert IV)
- Experience in working on Roads or similar projects in Australia
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Programs)
- Valid and clean driver’s licence
- Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
