Housing Industry Association (HIA) is the official body of Australia’s home building industry. As the only national industry association for Australian building professionals, we represent the interests of the housing industry at regional and national levels.

**The Role**
The purpose of the Marketing Communications Manager is to drive strategic, multi-channel marketing initiatives to elevate HIA’s brand, engage stakeholders, and advance our mission. This role ensures that all marketing efforts are impactful, timely, and aligned with HIA’s strategic goals.
Reporting to the General Manager - Communications, this role is hands-on, actively involved in both the strategic planning and the day-to-day execution of HIA’s marketing and communications initiatives. The Marketing Communications Manager works closely with internal teams, external agencies, and vendors to develop high-impact campaigns that strengthen HIA’s presence, engage members, and leverage current trends across social media and digital platforms.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Design and execute strategic and integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media channels, ensuring campaigns meet objectives, deadlines, and budget requirements
- Partner with business units and policy teams to shape marketing programs that promote HIA’s initiatives and foster stakeholder support
- Help manage relationships with agencies and external vendors, providing clear direction and feedback to ensure that outsourced work meets quality standards and aligns with HIA’s brand
- Develop engaging content tailored to various platforms, with a focus on maximising reach and impact

**The ideal applicant will have the qualities of**:
- Degree qualified in marketing or communications with strong digital marketing experience
- 7+ years working within Marketing and/or Communications
- Demonstrated experience managing team
- Excellent written, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrated project management skills with a track record of successful campaign delivery
