The business has a long and successful history with the Department of Defence. We currently have more than 50 consultants undertaking a wide variety of Defence projects right across Australia. Lumify People is a member of the Defence Industry Security Program. We are also subcontractors to the four CASG Major Service Providers.
**About the role**
Reporting to the LUMIFY People General Manager, we are seeking a highly capable and experienced Project Training Manager to manage LUMIFY People business units' training contract including scheduling, people, and training logistics requirements.
**Key responsibilities**:
Oversee Defense training contract responsibilities in collaboration with the LUMIFY People Training Administrator
Manage training planning, scheduling, delivery, and associated logistics
Provide daily guidance to LUMIFY People Trainers and the customer, addressing risks and issues promptly
Ensure compliance with the LUMIFY People Training Contract and deliver progress reports to the customer and LUMIFY People General Manager
Lead the assessment, renewal, and execution of new LUMIFY People training contracts
Attend monthly meetings with Defense representatives for communication on training delivery and enhancements
Develop a six-month rolling training schedule with Defense and assign trainers accordingly
Provide 20 working days' notice for new training requirements; negotiate suitable dates for shorter notice requests
Furnish Defense with visibility of the training schedule and trainer details upon request
Effectively plan and deliver all contracted services
- Handle escalations and actively participate in issue resolution
**About you**
You have sound interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to liaise with all levels of stakeholders and clients alike
You have excellent negotiation skills and the ability to collaborate to develop shared solutions with customers and LUMIFY People consultants
You are experienced at coaching and mentoring people
You can work to tight timeframes and deadlines
You have a strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
You understand the importance of customer service and collaborating with your team and customer to develop timely solutions to risks and issues
You are self-motivated with ability to work with mínimal supervision
You have sound written and oral communication skills, and the capacity to deal with ambiguity and complex problems
You’re a problem solver, analytical thinker and decision-maker
Most importantly, you act with integrity and show care for the people you work with
- Must have or be able to obtain baseline security level clearance
