**About the company**:
A leading not-for-profit organisation are looking for a People & Culture Business Partner to join their team on a 12-month contract. This is a full-time role, and the organization offers a flexible hybrid work environment. The offices are based east of the city.

You will be reporting directly to the People & Culture Manager. The company are a people first organization and drive value added solutions.

Partnering with a portfolio of the business you will provide advice and guidance throughout the employee lifecycle.

**Your key responsibilities include**:

- Provide HR partnering/consulting to meet the needs of the organization and support business leaders across the organization
- Deliver recommendations and solutions to managers across a full range of HR areas including, communications, change, employee relations, WHS, recruitment, and resourcing
- Ensure strategy and standards are maintained in line with organisational expectations, and are continuously improved
- Lead and/or contribute to relevant HR projects
- Manage performance and misconduct matters in accordance with the Enterprise Agreement and stakeholder requirements
- Provide support and ER/IR advice to managers and business partners
- Ensure timely roll-out and education of new & updated policies/procedures
- Ensure employee remuneration is paid in accordance with internal policies and that terms & conditions of employment are compliant with appropriate legislation including the Fair Work Act
- Work closely with the OHS team on the implementation of OHS initiatives
- Ensure the execution of induction and training, in the interests of building organisational capability; this includes ensuring all mandatory/compliance training is completed on time
- Build relationships with stakeholders across the organistaion
- Any other adhoc work in the people and culture department

**You will have the following**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum 5 years + experience in professional People and Culture generalist role
- Relevant experience in supporting change management and IR strategies in a similar environment
- Demonstrated success in the development of safety cultures that promote workplace health & safety while supporting the achievement of organisational deliverables
- Demonstrated experience in interpreting relevant employment related legislation including Fair Work Act, Employment Standards and Modern Awards
- Experience working in a unionised working environment
