Assistant Director of Idam Operations

**About the Role**

The request seeks to engage experienced sellers who have capability to provide an Assistant Director of Identity and Access Management (IdAM) who will provide oversight of the Identity and Access Management (IdAM) function for the OCIO. The assistant director will work closely with the Director to establish, manage and improve the corporate enterprise IdAM solution in a multi-cloud environment.

**Duties**
- Supervise team members, manage and report on work outcomes in addition to acting as Director when required,
- Oversee the development design and technical implementation of the IdAM service. Manage the ongoing support and maintenance of the service,
- Author and implement underpinning policies in relation to access provisioning, removal, auditing, privileged access etc.
- Actively work to reduce manual effort by driving towards automation,
- As a senior member of the team, possess the ability to work independently with limited supervision,
- Have the ability to respond to and prioritise competing and often urgent requests in a calm and efficient manner while also maintaining high work standards;
- Manage confidential and sensitive information; and
- Foster a positive culture within the team aligned with Agency values; and
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

**Essential criteria**
- Demonstrated minimum 5 years' experience leading teams in an operational environment through ICT management frameworks such as ITIL.
- Experience designing, implementing, and supporting an IdAM solution (Okta, Ping, Active Directory etc.) in a multi-cloud environment.
- Demonstrated experience integrating IdAM across cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance,
- Experience working in Government, or providing services to Government agency
