**About the Role**

We are currently looking for a Business Development Associate to join our Defence Team within the Public Infrastructure business line. The focus of this role will be to support in the execution of our strategy to support AUKUS in Australia, specifically delivery of infrastructure to support the nuclear submarine program.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for a wide variety of Business and Strategy Development and coordination duties in support of members of Public Infrastructure team in Australia, focusing on defence.
- Provides overall business support through the handling and referral of action items and the performance of assigned project tasks.
- Assists in the management of information resources within the assigned office and throughout the organization.
- Leads in development of communications and marketing strategies to articulate key differentiators.
- Support the business development team and Australian MD with business strategy development.
- Develops presentations and monthly updates.
- Conducts research for, provides input to, and coordinates the preparation of strategic and operating plans.
- Work with Business Development to understand competitors and customer motivations.
- Marketing and Stakeholder Management, Manage overall stakeholder plan for Defence in Australia.
- Manage key professional body relationships with support from Business Development Manager such as the Australian Nuclear Association, AIDN, SIA and others the defence space.

**About You**
- A recognized degree in a nuclear engineering or scientific discipline, and/or significant experience in similar roles or within the Australian nuclear sector.
- Strong communication skills, good listener, clear and concise writing ability
- Interest in creating strategies based on market assessments, trends, customer understanding and competitive landscape.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver project objectives.
- Ability to obtain an Australian Baseline or NV-1 security clearance or equivalent from the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency.
