**Job Description**:
We are seeking a Learning & Development Training Lead to join our team on a **fixed term contract for 18 months**, where the focus will be to oversee the Instructional Designer, to ensure all materials are fit for purpose, along with designing the future state governance model and partner with HR to design the future state training team.
**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**
- Investigation and assessment into the ‘current state’ training environment for Customer Service which is expected to include:
- Documentation for both New Starter Induction & continuous improvement modules - for both GE & Probe team members
- Documentation for Team Leaders & Senior Leaders
- Understanding the delivery methodology, channels used, associated timelines and speed to competency
- Governance process to ensure documentation is always up to date
- LMS Platform being used - to what degree is this fit for purpose today?
- Partner with HR to understand all roles currently engaged as part of that end to end design & delivery process
- Investigation and assessment into ‘current state’ training outside of Customer Service:
- Sales training - what exists that could be leveraged to improve the Customer Service delivery program?
- Corporate induction - as above
- Other products, eg. Palletised - as above
- Design of the training strategy for future state for new starters
- New starter Induction - what are the modules that are the foundations for everyone? How will this be delivered/learnt?
- What are all the building blocks of training for role-specific skills (operational knowledge, soft skills, technical skills)
- Assessment process - ‘ticket to play’ enabling people to get on the phones
- Design of the training delivery process in future
- What actually needs to be done in a classroom environment?
- What can be done as ‘practicals’?
- How do we ‘learn from anywhere’? How does this fit in with a 70/20/10 model?
- Timeframe for delivery & speed to competency model
- Oversee the Instructional Designer to ensure all materials are fit for purpose
- Design future state governance model
- Partner with HR to design the future state training team
