A leading Construction & Engineering Group experiencing an exciting phase of growth wish to hire a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their Executive Group.

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role is to provide Leadership and Financial Expertise to the Executive Group in relation to efficient financial management, decision making, planned tenders and administration management of business interests. In addition, the CFO will be a key stakeholder in all projects and activities with a key focus on Financial Management, Risk Policies and Business Growth.

**Key Duties Include (but Not Limited to ):

- **
- Provide Leadership and guidance across all matters such as financial, budgets, forecasts, tax and all other related aspects of the fiscal operations. Providing commentary on Financial Affairs/Accounts at Executive Meetings
- Responsible for oversight of compliance, governance, legal & corporate affairs and governance coupled with secretarial procedures
- Maximise financial strength through effective cash flow management and appropriate investment strategies
- Implementation of risk management policies, ensuring procedures are implemented effectively, control of risk management framework - including risk mitigation strategies, WHS standards and relevant insurances
- Understanding local tax implications, regulatory environments, provide efficient advice on how best to work with suppliers/banks/regulatory bodies
- Ability to use leadership and communication skills to influence the executive team, the group strategies and lead the Finance team.
- Provide excellent leadership by assigning team members and other departments managers’ clear accountability backed by an appropriate authority.
- Engage with department heads to actively promote a culture of collaboration and inclusiveness
- CA/CPA Qualified with at least 11 years experience in a Financial Leadership role with a track record of high achievement ideally in the construction or engineering industries
- Proficient data analytics skills data, especially auditing and risk assessment.
- Ability to identify business opportunities and challenges for management to make a sound commercial decision
- Strong attention to detail with numbers and the ability to utilise the numbers to tell the story and see the bigger picture
- Superior problem-solving ability and the ability to negotiate successful outcomes in potentially challenging circumstances
