**Position Information**:
Tower Street Public School is located on Tower Street, Panania a suburb within the Bankstown LGA. We acknowledge that we play and learn on the land of the Bidjigal People of the Darug nation. Our current enrolment is 163 students K-6 including 6% Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and 58% of students from a non-English speaking background.

Tower Street Public School is a dynamic, community-focused school with a history of providing rich academic, sporting and cultural programs for our students. Our teachers are enthusiastic and share a strong commitment to providing quality, evidence-informed teaching programs for all students. There is a mix of experienced and early-career teachers who work collaboratively to plan and evaluate student progress.

We have a strong emphasis on student wellbeing, inclusion and respect. We have established and embedded Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) practices across the school.

Our committed Parents and Citizens Association works in partnership with our school to provide opportunities for community members to participate in school programs and events.

**Selection Criteria**:
Approval to teach infants and primary (K-6) with demonstrated experience in developing and implementing high quality differentiated programs in literacy and numeracy, with an emphasis on data informed practice.

A commitment to whole school wellbeing programs and exceptional classroom management skills to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to work collaboratively in teams and build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community.

Proven ability and experience to lead and support extra-curricular programs, such as visual art, sport, public speaking and debating.
