- I’m Brian, a middle-aged man who lives in the Gold Coast. I love watching the Rugby (GO THE BRONCO’s), visiting new places and trying new foods that fit in to my dietary and swallowing requirements. I have recently come out of hospital and have a complex health management routine. I am a fun loving, energetic and have lots of stories to tell. I sometimes get a little excited and have trouble controlling my emotions and reactions. I am looking for someone that can listen to, understand, and get to know me. I live with 2 of my best friends who are also my co-tenants, and we are looking for Lifestyle Assistants to assist us to gain the most of out of our lives and support us during our good and bad times. We are looking for someone who is passionate, empathic, and humorous. _

This role will be situated in the **Gold Coast** region supporting NDIS clients.
**Key requirements**:
- Passion and demonstrated experience in supporting people to live the lives they choose.
- Manual handling is a requirement of the role.
- Experience with complex and challenging behaviours is a must.
- Willing to support our customers with domestic duties.
- Capability to work in a small team with strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in report writing.
- Good computer skills in order to use online systems.
- Capacity to meet physical requirements of the job.
- Current driver’s license and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- Current QLD Blue and Yellow Card
- Current First aid and CPR Certificates
- Completed NDIS Screening check
- Certificate III in Individual Support is desired
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
