**Position Overview**:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team on a casual basis. In this role, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them to live independently and engage in community activities. Your nurturing and respectful attitude will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
- Support clients in developing and maintaining independence in their daily routines.
- Assist with transportation to appointments, social activities, and community events.
- Implement individual support plans and encourage positive life choices.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all clients.
- Build trusting relationships and promote the social and emotional well-being of clients.
- Complete necessary documentation and reporting as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in disability support or related fields is preferred, but not essential.
- Certificate 3 in Disability or equivalent is an advantage (not essential but preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to service delivery.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is preferred.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification is desirable.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $34.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 06/01/2025
